Eliana Cobbs
Violin
Eliana Cobbs, a violin performance senior at Central Washington University studying with Professor Carrie Rehkopf, is deeply enmeshed in the classical music community. She has performed with the Everett Philharmonic, Central Washington University, Wenatchee Symphony, Yakima Symphony, Redmond Chamber Orchestra, Listeso Music Group, the Jupiter Music Festival, Tacoma Youth Symphony, Second City Chamber Series-YCP and the Evergreen Music Festival.
Eliana has won multiple solo competitions and has frequently performed as an orchestral soloist. She has participated in the MTNA competition three times winning 1st Place in 2025, 2nd Place in 2024 and Honorable Mention in 2023. She won MusicFest Northwest’s competition and performed Coleridge-Taylor Perkinson’s Louisiana Blues Strut on Spokane NPR radio. She has performed in masterclasses for Noah Geller, Blake Pouliot and a most memorable one with the renowned Midori Goto. Eliana is the 2026 recipient of MOR's David Tonkonogui Memorial Award and makes her MOR debut January 2027.
She is currently the CWU Symphony Concertmaster, a member of several quartets, and a violinist with the Wenatchee and Yakima Symphonies.
